Re: Auction in Wakefield tomorrow

Re: Sad news

Very sad news indeed. I just heard today. I met Gerry a few times over the years at auctions, and have visted Wookey before and since Gerry took over. He did a great job of injecting new life into Wookey. I especially enjoyed the area devoted to clowns. The Arcade was always good fun. Great loss.

It could well have been round rather than square. I agree with arrgee, the cranes had both globes and flame shaped shades. Un...

Re: Bryans Pendulum - Which Top is Correct?

I don't have a better picture than you do, sorry. I do think the round globe to be incorrect though IMO. I would think that a type of lantern top, similar to the top on the All Square metal crane, is a good bet. Bryans crane Salisbury.JPG Copy of Flyer3.jpg Please keep us informed of any progress. C...

Re: Pushers

Great machine, and a brilliant addition to the collection. The operating instructions for the Double Decker are available on the Bryans Website courtesy of Jim Hacking. I would suggest that you adjust the travel of the two buses using the screws located at each end under the track. This stops the bu...
