Re: Cottees Auction of coin operated Machines
Yes this auction has been talked about (or planned) since they last had a few slots for sale during lockdown (10% fees). I was talking a while ago to a gentleman loosely connected to them and they were toying with the idea of regular auctions, so guys it's up to you whether it succeeds or not. My ow...

Re: Bolland's The Winner.
This B.M.Co. machine I owned a few years ago (sold to an auctioneer) was just the front, so I had to get a case made. It was a HUGE thing (bigger than a 24 cup type). As jingle says - large balls. This one had about two inch wooden ones. The coin return was a very simple drop coin system. Seems to b...

The SKITTLES machine does indeed light up but is not working , as far as I can tell , it is complete so therefore a potential goer. the MIRRORS are 7 feet x 2 feet and are of wood
& metal contruction .

DSCF1783 (1).JPG HI ALL , picked up these 5 machines the other day (a couple of allwins and a pusher to follow maybe). I was really surprised to also find a pair of large (8 feet tall) CRAZY MIRRORS. They originally came from showmen. I was wondering, are these sort things collectable these days?

Boland Bomber Command
Topic merged - Site Admin. HI ALL, just finished tidying up this machine from a recent auction. Been after this one for a while. Nothing much wrong with it, works fine - all pretty much original. I had to stabilise the paintwork with a couple of coats of clear varnish. This seems to have done the t...

Re: eBay bargains, maybe
HI ALL,
I have had a couple of skittle machines over the years, TIP THE SKITTLE and SKITTLE LOLLY, more or less the same. The one I had in the small Cheddar arcade was a great favourite with everyone. I would recommend these for any arcade…

Hi all,
Just had a look at this allwin on ebay. Was it made recently? I have noticed all Phillips screws & modern bolts on the mech? Although I already have one of these, something tells me to steer well clear…

Re: V.E. Day Celebrations
Hi all,
Yes PM, it's a giant Olly Whales machine called DEFIANT. The other, smaller, one is indeed the SPITFIRE and the last one I purchased. I thought this one was rare-ish, but have since seen about four, one being a front that was on flea bay for months. It must have sold in the end.

Re: V.E. Day Celebrations
Nice picture Cliff, I haven't seen a B.M.Co Aeroplane before with eight planes? Here is mine, plus another 1930s machine. I think that they must have done well in the arcades up to and during the war.

Hi all, from sunny OXFORDSHIRE.
To celebrate V.E. Day, have any members got any pictures of W.W.2 related machines that they would like to show us?

Re: Time to ........
I bought this B.M.CO machine awhile ago needing light restoration (been stored approx. 30 years ago). Slight downside for me is that it's on 1/2 penny coins. Still a nice find. It works perfectly.
