Re: Jubilee "Upstairs Downstairs" Questions

It's handy that Zygo and I live close to one another. After we inspected my two Jubilees, we have identified some problems. I am sure that Zygo will keep everyone posted.

Re: Nutt & Muddle Jubilee International

Correct. This one seems to working fine so I won't be fiddling around too much. I've cleaned the slides and the reel strips as they were both badly coated with grease.

Nutt & Muddle Jubilee International

I just purchased my second poker machine. A Jubilee International made by Nutt & Muddle. It's a pre-decimal (before 1966) sixpence, four-reeler. Everything works and lights up. The only real problem is that the two locks have been totally removed. The plate that covers the coin box needs to stay...

Re: Adjusting payout and reel alignment

Well try as I might I still can't get all the teeth to line up with the reel brake, which is annoying because I know they did before. It's the second wheel that I am having the most trouble with. The brake on it has a self-adjusting cube that fits into the sprocket attached to the reel. The cube is ...

Re: Adjusting payout and reel alignment

Okay, I believe I have got the coin slides paying out. I am not 100% sure what was the cause of the problem but once I cleared the slides, I put the mechanism back in the cabinet and hooked the electrical connector back up, it seemed to rectify itself. Despite what I said last night I cannot get the...

Re: Adjusting payout and reel alignment

Argh this thing is doing my head in. It is no longer paying out. I can see the vertical fingers striking through the discs but the coin slide is no longer letting the coins exit. What should I be looking at to correct this? I've corrected the reels so that they line up correctly with the brake. Ever...

Re: Adjusting payout and reel alignment

Thanks andy, jimmy and badpenny. I have taken the reels out and cleaned them as well degreased what I could see. The reels now spin a lot more freely. Yay. I have cleaned the slides while I was there. The second to bottom slide was rusty. However I have now created a new problem. The reel symbols ar...

Adjusting payout and reel alignment

Hello, This is my first post for my first machine. Please go easy on me - especially since I am not familiar with the terminology used. I have recently purchased my first poker machine which I believe to be a Nutt & Muddle Jubilee Riviera. Overall everything works fine except a couple of things ...
