Southport pier closed
Just a heads up for anyone planning to visit Southport pier, and the vintage penny arcade.
It is now closed for the summer season due to extensive repair. This information is from the Lancs live website. I'm not sure how to post the link here.

Re: Ruffler and Walker Earth Satellite repair help
Hi gameswat
This is the ball release from my R&W fill em up.
The spring loaded flap is the payout slide selector.
There is a very good animated video on the forum explaining how this works.

Re: Electroplating (chrome, nickel etc.)
For those who live in the Manchester area I use Leigh metal polishing in Swinton. They have done some really good work for me over the years. The bm co cresta run door parts were done 2 years ago at a cost of £60 and 3 week turn around. The fill em up ball gallery plate also cost £60 this was done a...

Hi Dave
I have a photo of the jackpot position that should help you, I don't have a computer, only a tablet and I'm not sure how to upload photos with it. If you PM me your email address I could send it by email and you could upload it to the forum, it may help other members

I'm looking at the photo of your index disc, there is a nut and bolt and washer holding the adjusting
Plate closed. It should not be there. Take this out and the pecker blade will go in

Hi Dave
That is a spring loaded plate that can be adjusted to make it easier or harder for the blade to be inserted. For Home use it's better to adjust it to its maximum open position.

Re: Bryan’s Clock Hands
Hi Dave The hour hand on mine is 35mm shorter than the minute hand, Just measure the spindle diameter for the hole size. To set up both hands correctly, put the mechanism in the jackpot position. IF your not sure how to do this, here goes. Lift up the pecker blade from the index wheel, now turn the ...

Re: Bryan’s clock key to handle conversion.....
Hi Paul, If you look at the back of your mech, you will see a flat bar ( upper left.), this is attached to a spring rod, this is the spindle brake adjuster, This is adjusted so that the tension on the spindle will slow it down gradually before the end of cycle. If you look at the position of yours i...
