Re: eBay

I thought they had already sold once as they did finish at over £1700 and was left to the end.....
Not for me - yet to get into these types of machine. You could have a collection in one hit...not sure they will go cheap though.

Re: new project

Denby, see below measurements in metric, as close as possible for base.

I suspect you will need to make sides as well, as the base of the chipboard ones look a little damaged/swollen

Let me know if you need sides and other bits.

Re: new project

Nice old Mill-O-Matic with the woodchip cabinets.... I have a few of these and planned to change the bad ones with replacement oak cases. You can buy them in from the States but, after shipping, pretty pricey. I have 3 of them for High Tops all allocated I am afraid, but was lucky to buy two of mine...

Re: Anyone seen one of these Sega stands before?

Ah well done, knew I had seen one somewhere. I have this catalogue, but think I have also seen one of those colour corporate pictures of one somewhere as well. In another Sega catalogue covering lite-ups, they have a traditional shaped stand as an option... This is very stylish, but I guess to a tas...

Re: Anyone seen one of these Sega stands before?

Yup it is the real deal, suspect an option as copyright issues would exist....Have seen them before on ebay, fetch a fair price. Not sure if I like them, prefer those '60s style curvy Formica jobbies.....As you say, price is high, but from the pictures they look good condition. Problem with Sworders...

Well talk of the devil, someone has stuck one on ebay. Looks like this one has a cabinet as well, although painted.... I would ask for more pictures or view though...

Re: Merely as a public service you understand?

Well, it's taken nearly a fortnight but the dross from the New Year's auction is now appearing on ee-by-gumbay. Curiously lacking photos, except for a tiny one of the horse ride, how odd! Thanks BP, your right, I was briefly interested and asked the question to the seller for piccies.......So it is...

Thanks for the update of that lot, I guess you need to take chances to get that occasional special find and in the process pick up a load of toot.... certainly sounded like a lot of an effort though

I thought you would have chosen Cameron

Based on the vote here, this explains the higher price for the earlier machines. .....Quite like the later one with the lower cash box......

Re: cromptons ?

Not presuming anything other than what the eye sees -/00\- We are all dying to know what was in that old barn, we all live in hope some old rarities were buried in there. It is shame there is no cabinet on this machine, as someone else on here has already shown interest in the Beachcomber variety. T...

Ah well apologies if not the case, but on your photo share Dropshots posted for you cromptons machine, you also have two fruit machines a Fortune Trail and Pound Beater and pinball, the fruit machines are exactly the same as the said barn find, so maybe this is a very odd coincidence SkEpTiCaL Job l...
