Re: Weird looking jackpot mechanism & missing jackpot trigger on Mills War Eagle

Hi, The posting photo with the missing bolt indicated sure looks like the reserve jackpot door. The shafts no MLB-2746-A , unfortunately Mills list 3 different deflector plates, and 5 different doors, depending on coin and large and small jackpots, so you will have to make a punt. Yes, that is the d...

Re: Weird looking jackpot mechanism & missing jackpot trigger on Mills War Eagle

Hi, I compared the jackpots and still cannot see any missing parts. Don't forget, there are less parts in the older jackpots compared to the newer type. Do you have a copy of the Mead Owners' Pictorial Guide? If so, on page 105 it shows a line diagram of the jackpot coin path that also shows the jac...

Re: Weird looking jack pot mechanism and missing jack pot trigger on Mills war Eagle

Hi, happy to help. Looking at the first two images you posted, it still seems that it is all there, unless it is something I cannot see. I have two machines with this type of jack pot, a Roman Head and an Extraordinary, both with skill stops and gold awards. I will have a look within the next few da...

Re: Weird looking jack pot mechanism and missing jack pot trigger on Mills war Eagle

You have an early type jackpot. As far as I can see, nothing is missing. The reference to a missing stud is incorrect. There never was one. The jackpot was held closed and released by the payout slides. When all the slides were back, the jackpot would be dumped, and when the slides reset, would be c...

When I said I have 3 of the Mills, I meant 3 of the reset bars spare. I have about 16 machines using that type of bar.

Re: Sega Bell Hi-top reserve jackpot help

Hi,
I have 3 Mills but a word of warning - all are different heights or bent different, I guess to avoid the payout slides and the height of the coin stack to allow for height variation of 20 coins will vary a lot depending on the coins used.

Re: Jennings Governer Jackpot Assembly

Hi I am in Birmingham. After you have cleaned it and still have a problem you are welcome to bring it over and compare it to mine. I have two - lot better to have them side by side and spot any differences, even more so if you have a spring in the wrong place. P.M me if help needed.

Re: Goldfinger Big Jack

I am lucky on one thing - I am a retired electrician, so that really helps with problems in these things. Anything goes wrong, it's pounced on and sorted. May take some time but sorted. Mine was also made in Belgium, but I know they had an office in Vegas. The flyer for mine has an address in Stockh...

Re: Goldfinger Big Jack

Hi, I have only seen one Competition Industries slot on ebay - a different one to mine and your machine, and asked if any paperwork. No luck, and a few other might haves. I am fairly sure they may not exist - probably destroyed when the company folded. They were only running for a few years. They we...

Re: Goldfinger Big Jack

Hi, I have a machine by the same company and have been looking for ages for a diagram and have given up. A four reel 1-6 coin multiplier to a maximum payout of 1800 coins: 300 by machine, the rest by attendant, but 600 on the Goldfinger feature. This link should take you to a site with several flyer...

Re: BDR Breadbin

The one I had was quite simple to remove. If you look where the handle boss enters the inside of the case, there was a ring cut into the boss where a lever operated plate dropped in, anchoring the operating arm. Lift it up and move the handle out with a bit of jiggling and, if I remember right, two ...

Re: Bally 809-f

The two Rio slots hoppers that are listed may well be u/s for the Bally 809. The Rio slots have a 20p top payout. On 2p play that's 10 coins. My 809 has a top payout on coin one of 200 coins. I can only guess yours may be the same, but with the total lack of info, can only guess. The seller of the R...
