Re: Cottees Auction of coin operated machines

18%+VAT is on the low side when it comes to auction houses. My local one is 30%, or if you want to bid live on the saleroom.com it's 36%. :!: We have been a bit spoiled by our two specialised slot auctions at 10%. Long may it continue.

Re: Bingolette ... Part missing!

i suspected it was the payout soleniod as it was not payout out! typically i had got rid of a few others because they had poor cases

Bingolette ... Part missing!

Just dug out a Bingolette from storage, cleaned up very well but didn't pay out. Noticed a gap on the mechanism, presume it's a solenoid unit missing. Would this be the culprit? Anybody got any breakers around for a spare or is there a work-around? !PUZZLED!

Ridiculously cheap, would have bought most of these at that price, especially the early stuff. Never seen the Argyle fortune teller. A well kept secret auction! Think the seller should be disappointed.

Re: Unusual UK conversion on a Jennings

I think ill informed. They believe they are buying original machines. If they knew the Nostalgia machines were made in China, don't think they would touch them.
