Re: Does this machine look original to you?

What about the plate on the front that prevents the cigarette falling to the floor?
I think this looks very fresh compared to the rest of the machine, maybe re-made?

Re: JPM

These early JPM machines (each way nudger, etc.) were the first true electronic machines and had a fantastic new feature... you could nudge the reels down and UP ! They were generous machines and rewarded skilful players and were tremendously popular. No percentage controller on these early games an...

Re: Token varieties

P.E. stood for Phonographic Equipment of Ladbroke Grove in London.who were the importers of Bally fruit machines.
The tokens with a whole in the middle were 3d in value and the solid ones were worth 6d.

Re: Selecta Music

The New Yorker machine is an Ace machine or someone's conversion of an Ace machine. Ace machines were amongst the early electro mechanicals and were very popular in their day and were made by a company in South Wales - you occasionally see their tokens for sale on ebay 6d per play and probably the f...

Re: Win Easy identified

I'm not sure if it would be win too easy - personally I have found some of the B M Co allwins extremely hard to win on. When I find a 1 1/4" rubber ball I'll try it and let you all know.
Do you think it's worth checking with Bobby Vee for a rubber ball?

Re: Win Easy identified

This latest photo shows a Win Easy with payout knob and cup - presumably to reward a winning shot with both a coin and free ball.

Re: Win Easy identified

Thanks for that great bit of detective work PennyMachines - I see it's also listed in Paul Braithwaite's book.
Now all I need to do is find a ball for it - any ideas?

Win Easy identified

Can anyone offer info on this domino themed allwin?
It uses a 1 1/4" ball - presumably not steel, running on a flat brass track. Brass is also the choice of material for the painted backface.
The lucky player receives only his coin back - no ball to replay!

Re: Imperial Crown bandit - something missing?

Hello, Mechanical fruits often have an anti cheat device which disables the payout when the machine is played without inserting a coin. You need to take a look around the escalator which is the device at the top which receives the inserted coins and moves them to the payout tube. there should be a le...
