Re: Ell's Diabolo
Thanks Mr. PM! I'm sending the link to the owner who can now put the word description together with the diagram. He's figured out the play mechanism in back but the playfield in front is still somewhat a mystery. I'm hopeful he will authorize pictures once he has the game sorted. J Peterson Boloed-O...

Ell's Diabolo
Put on your sleuth hats, lads; a discovery needs some research. I've been contacted by another Yank who has a Diabolo. There is a picture in the Discoveries area from a 2012 posting by Jingle: " Six-Pot Jack Pot, DiaBolo & 3 early BM Co.s. " There is no further information regarding th...

If you have to go to the third floor, Roger, may I have your Roy Rogers fancy pistol set? I promise to display them next to my "Licensed Victuallers' Automatic Shooting Range."

Re: Always willing to learn.....
I think Gameswat pretty much nailed it. We pine for the items of our youth. That is nowhere more evident than here on PennyMachines where most postings are now about fruit machines as opposed to the older British games. There is a category of outliers like Roger and me who are attracted to the "...

Once they have it up and running, it will be interesting to see how the automaton works. The picture of the mechanism shows only a mechanical card dispenser, no linkage to the scene at the top of the machine. I'm assuming it is all mechanical. Pictures! I want more pictures. Re: Brenner "Ball Past The Arrow"
Just a thought, Aaron. These machines would be designed to accept the British 1D coin which is similar in size but thinner than the US fifty cent piece. If you are are using the half-dollars, that might be the problem. You can easily source the old British penny on Ebay. You might want to give it a ...
