Re: Airship Sale at Wallis and Wallis

Well there you go, you need to listen to more than one expert....I would never have bid without twenty opinions anyway for this type of money, by which time if genuine everyone else would have outbid me anyway... :!?!:

Still like these though....

Re: It's that time of year again... and crazy Sega Prices...

Yes there was an old thread, something to do with being more reliable, e.g. preventing jamming that often occurred, so I guess a competitor to the Shefras escalator. The chain ones you often see on Brit versions of the Sega Lite Up.

Re: Elephant House Auctions

Quite a few lots are not filed as sold, of the machines I noted at least 4 allwins, the later ones, in fact all the later ones, which at the time I thought went cheap, they all end around £240 each or less....The Cricketers did not sell at around the £200 mark, even a poor condition Aristocrat at th...

A Dickie bird tells me the Mutoscope was the real deal and not a fake.....was a bargain for someone. Also the profit sharer was all there/complete.

Re: Jolly Boys Outing to ChicagoLand Coin Op Show

are you kidding!! 6 days in a top hotel in Brighton would cost you more than the flight and hotel in Chicago, £500 for the flight..you would spend that on an allwin!!! Mmmm not sure I would want to spend 6 days in Brighton, I was of course talking about a day trip on a coach and a few crates...

Re: Elephant House Auctions

Do you recall what sort of money the Trade Stimulators went for? I placed a conservative absent bid on the 1 Cent Marvell and the IMP - will have to wait until tomorrow to find out if i won or not! Mark. Apologies, they are not my thing, but I do recall into the two hundred something. There were tw...

Re: Help with a Duomat

I like these, but as Raj has suggested you need to be careful as with many of the German Wall machines, some of the components are not the most robust and faults of these will be be more difficult to address to due spares. Beromats are slightly less of an issue due to the numbers out there. Through ...

Can't see a problem with the Allwin, but you've got a lot of silver hair in 12 months treefrog! Yes BP I bought that Allwin Deluxe, a Olly Whales I assume and totally different to the picture the seller sent JC (perhaps that my excuse for the grey hair, poor light :o ), I thought it was a different...
