Hi everyone. I hope this is the correct area to post a thread like this. Apologies if it isn't! I'm currently putting together a little library of casino related sound effects and I thought I'd reach out here if anyone's able to help me out (when lockdown is over!) If anyone has any bandits sitting around and would be alright with me popping over with my microphones, or if you have a semi-reasonable mic yourself, it'd be great to collect the sounds your machines make! I'm interested in getting some old slot arms, pennies being inserted, dropping, reels spinning etc. That clunky mechanical stuff. I'm based in North Hertfordshire.

Hi there, you may get a helpful member offering, but another thought, there are traditional arcades full of machines still out there. I believe someone else about three years ago asked exactly the same thing and one arcade owner offered to help up in Norfolk.. see below thread

Ooh thanks for that, I'll get in touch with him, some other useful leads to follow there too. Going through the suggested threads it seems this comes up every few years haha, I might check how the other sound people got on too. Cheers!
