Site registration fixed

Unexpected consequences are the sine qua non of website development, so changes I made recently to the site navigation bizarrely managed to screw up the site membership registration routine, and those wishing to draw attention to this failing would have to register here first... Luckily, somebody found my email address. I think it's fixed now.
