Change machine

Post by glittering-prize67 »

Hi everyone,
I bought this old change machine and got it working but it pays 2p coins out at the moment. I want it to work paying 10ps but at present you get 50x10p for £1. Does anyone know if it can be adjusted and what the 3 banks of switches are for on the pcb?

Hi, thanks for reply. I tried that but had no reply. Don't think they really bothered unless you spend thousands??

Just make a note of how the dip switches are currently set and then start experimenting. Doesn't take long to figure out the options. Back in the '80s and '90s I had to do the same many times with old video game boards that didn't come with paperwork.

Yes that's who I emailed. It has a Eurocoin plate on it with s/no but still can't find anything.

Hi, I have played with the switches but nothing seems to change. It takes the old pound and 10p so I'm guessing it's late '80s to early '90s.

To make changes you may need to turn off...adjust switches...and turn on again.

That is a good point my friend. I will try that. Although with so many I doubt it possible to hit the correct sequence.
