Oh, oh!
So sorry, Mrs. BP and Mrs. JC.
Going forward, I'll try and keep my comments strictly on the gents.

S'OK, it gets very confusing ... not only do JC and I have the same christian names and same initials, but we are both unbelievably handsome ....... plus my last wife was also called Sharon.
The current future Mrs Clapham is called Doff (Dorothy) the wife before Sharon was called Andrea and the original Mrs Clapham.... Zita
Coincidently all of them have referred to me as "Heavy Sigh!"

Re: old pictures of odd slot machines
Doing some more rummaging as none of the 32 job applications I sent off over the last 4 weeks have even resulted in a letter saying "Bog Off" let alone come for an interview before we tell you to "Bog Off"
This one seems a staged photo to commemorate a change in some gambling laws in Maryland It's a Mills Hi-top laying in a coffin on top of what looks like a board for showing "odds" The hand written sign says: -
Here Lie the remains of
Mr Mills
Mr Criss Cross
Mr Buckley
Mr Twenty One
They served Maryland &
St Mary’s Co very well
Born July 1 1947
Deceased June 30 1968
I've done a bit more hunting and it seems that Maryland was known as Little Vegas the information is here: -
What Can Maryland’s Troubled History with Slot Machines Tell Us.....
The second photo is of us "Good 'OL Boys" after the last Coventry auction. This picture shows us whoop arsin' a rusty old Watling around the car park shortly before we all piled into the back of Dave Lavender's pickup Astra and hightailed it to downtown Coventry.
We sure did have a laugh hollerin' and firing off rubber bands, except of course when we stopped for traffic lights, that would have just been plum rude an all!
Two circuits of the shopping centre and we were all ready for a sasparasparirilla at the bus station kiosk, the lads from Derby wanted to make a night of it and go out on to the dual carriageway that leads to Nuneaton in order to marvel at the new neon signs that Vimto have put up, but they were out voted as the rest of us wanted to get back in time to see Coronation Street.
Can't wait for next year!!!!

That's George W. Bush in the bottom picture, second from the left; before he stopping drinking.
