Screwfix metal polishing kit
Just tested my new metal polishing kit from screwfix.
it really works well and is a great addition to a slot restorers tools. Comes with two polishing mops (one to remove dirt and heavy marks, one for high finish polishing) two large sticks of polish (one for each of the mops) and a spindle to attach to any electric drill (rechargeable drills not recommended, not enough long lasting power)
An inexpensive (£28) kit that dose a first class job on any metal that can be polished to a shine.

Re: Screwfix metal polishing kit
I have a similar set at home. I would advise to use the polish sparingly and not to apply too much preassure. I found on a couple of bits I managed to take the thin chrome finish off and went down to a bronze/gold color metal. Ie managed it twice once on the front flap for my mini Sega and once on the arrow button for a Hi Top.
As you saw though Paul you can get a great finish with them if your careful.!
