Jubilee Riviera 'one-eyed' Casino Belle

Post by coppinpr »

A guy in Holland has asked me to make a new top glass for a Jubilee and it has a very odd photo as part of both the art work and the reel strips. The woman in the photo looks to be wearing an eye patch made from a huge sapphire and gold chains. I find it quite disconcerting. :!:

I'm guessing that the woman could have been a famous character in the poker world at the time and frequented the casino? So a custom glass maybe???

Well, she isn't Gabrielle...
Someone must be able to identify her.

I have read before that, in the past at least, poker players wore eye patches so other players couldn't read reactions in their eyes (??). Many casinos now allow players to wear dark glasses for the same reason.
