Re: Coventry Auction: Sunday 26th November 2017
I've had a couple of people contact me to say their submissions for the auction sent to <info@vintageamusementsauctions.co.uk> are bouncing back.
We're checking this out, so please be aware and I shall announce here when we're sure it's working.

Righty Ho!
We think the problem lies with AOL, it seems they've had big problems in October with large numbers of outages. And it's the common denominator in this case.
So back to normal, if anyone has further issues contact me via e-mail if you know my address, or through this forum if you don't.

Just in case anyone is not yet aware, the first page of early entries is now available to view on our auction site:
http://www.vintageamusementsauctions.co.uk/
.....and I'm halfway through compiling the second page (it'll be finished when we get some more entries - so get those forms filled in ASAP)!

In case you haven't yet noticed, a second page of auction entries has
been online for a few days now, and I've now just added a third. So far
we have over 100 lots, which includes a good number of machines.
The vendor of the fantastic Buckley Bones that failed to sell last year
has very kindly given us a second chance! There are very few of these
incredible machines in the UK, so this really could be your last chance
for many, many years - and just to make it a chance of a lifetime, the
vendor has lowered the reserve. Don't miss out this time!
And the vendor of the Watling Gold Seal, which like the Bones failed to
sell last year, is entering the machine again - and is also lowering the
reserve. So another chance not to be missed!
Just a reminder that the closing date for entries is Monday 13th, so you
have a little over a week to get your entries in - please don't leave to
the last minute (as so many usually do)!
That's it for now
All the best

Love the response BP I also only seeing two pages any other ideas ?
Re: Coventry Auction: Sunday 26th November 2017
Should be fixed now. Settings for mobile view are separate from normal PC view (which is a bloody pain). When editing the site, I have a mobile emulator that shows me how individual pages will appear on a mobile device - I just forgot to set page 3 links from pages 1 & 2..........I can't guarantee it won't happen again
Re: Coventry Auction: Sunday 26th November 2017
I just find out today that the mails of the coventry auction were delivered in the spam box of my gmail. Last year that was not the case.maybe good to know... I hope i will be able to come next year.
Re: Coventry Auction: Sunday 26th November 2017
Correction - that's the site URL you have there old chap. What everyone needs to have in their address book is our email address, which is:
info(AT)vintageamusementsauctions.co.uk
There's no guarantee it will prevent emails ending up in spam folders, different email programs will react differently to multi-copied emails. It's also very dependant on security settings - I have mine set on medium, and the emails I send to my gmail account all go to my inbox OK.
Anyway, page 4 is now ready to view and I'm now halfway into page 5. So it's all coming along nicely - we have over 130 lots so far and there's plenty more to come.
