What you need to do is blow up and put numbers by, but first one on left is the Winaway football game by Haworths.....I reckon a rare beast

When you click on the photo it's about as big as I can get without losing the definition.

I lost my definition in the 1970s. I regularly get described as being hazy.

Re: Today's quiz "name that machine"
As no one has mentioned it yet, No. 1 is an Exhibit Supply Co. Imperial crane.
So what's the prize for getting machine No 2?
Edit: Just noticed No. 9 is an electric shock machine with a very attractive aluminium front - the subject of another thread on this forum.

Re: Today's quiz "name that machine"
I'm guessing number 2's a two player racer (Ahrens Cycle Race perhaps?), on account of that large wheel sticking out the front.

Re: Today's quiz "name that machine"
OK, that's the easy part done (mostly). Now for the hard part - what is the item highlighted by the arrow? My guess is it's a replacement punch ball harness, but then I thought number 21 was a Buckley, but now I can see it's most likely the original Mills version.

Re: Today's quiz "name that machine"
I'm surprised no one answered the easy one; 20 is a Mills Extraordinary.
Oh, but that was named in the initial post, which also identified the one to its left as a Buckley.
The one on its right is clearly a Mills Silent Bell of some type, but I'll have to look harder to see which one.
Ah, no. I took a closer look, and I see the circular coin escalator. That means 21 is a Pace. Perhaps, though it's hard to tell, a Pace Fancy Front.

The 'Extraordinary' (20) appears to be the front-vendor version, judging by the straight sides.
Chicago Automatics referred to this as the 'Century Vendor'.

Re: Today's quiz "name that machine"
The Extraordinary was described by the company as "sold with compulsory skill controls", so I guess you were not allowed to trust to luck on a pull.
Re: Today's quiz "name that machine"
The 'ordinary' skill controls, which allowed the player to influence the spin, were satisfactory in some areas.
In others, the possibility of a 'chance' win coming up was not acceptable. The 'compulsory' skill buttons were to address this. If you allowed the reels to stop naturally, the payout was disabled, and all you got were your mints or gum.

The BDR Skill Adda also worked like this. You cannot win if you don't use the skill button.
