Re: Welcome back Pennymachines

Only just back on today. I can only echo the comments that have been posted about this unfortunate incident. Heartfelt thanks for running the best site for collectors and continuing to do so despite what has happened. You are indeed a star Mr Pm!

Re: Hello from South of France

Welcome to the best machine site ever. Never seen the cocktail pinballs before. I have turned green! There are some seriously good contributors here (I am only a very minor player) and you won't find a better informed forum from all over the world. I love Bryans machines. Still think they are the be...

I don't know the answer but I thought they sold off their penny arcade (or at least the machines in it) quite a long time ago.

Re: Merrivale gets a new visitor attraction

Today in the Guardian online (it is free access) there is an Instagram video link of Banksy's Spraycation, including Merrivale. Some good shots of the village too. Worth watching just for that, but also the work shows just how much talent Bansky has.

Re: Pin Up and Iris Wall machine

I could not agree more. When Ebay introduced it they hailed it as fraud prevention device. That is rubbish and it does the opposite. As Moonriver points out ,with names and previous history it was fairly easy to catch the false bidding out. I suppose the only way is ( perhaps as ever) set your limit...

Re: Pin Up and Iris Wall machine

Sorry treefrog. I went on a header on Allwin for sale in UK | 30 second-hand Allwins - For-sale.co.uk https://www.for-sale.co.uk › allwin when I put in "pin up girl made by bussoz paris 1914". The header suggested work needed doing, but when I looked closely nothing in the body of the post...

Pin Up and Iris Wall machine

2 attractive machines on Ebay from Bullion993. The pin up machine has an interesting mech. On another site referring to same machine suggests work needs doing. eBay item number:353499460347

I say nothing about the Girls!

Re: Edgerton Double Loop identified

Hi Daveslot. Did you source some composite balls or are using chrome/stainless steel? If the former could you let know where from? Also could you possibly upload a picture of the mechanism? Be great to see full picture of your machine.

Re: Split from: Opportunity of the decade coming

Over the last 18 months or so there has been a sad increase of posts that are abusive unpleasant and unnecessarily critical of other users. In particular there have been in my view unacceptable and unhelpful criticisms of Mr PM and his moderators and moreover expressed in unseemly terms. There has a...

Re: Opportunity of the decade coming

Mine was ironic too but you were there first with Nigel and Brigham. My comment was for others BP as I would never dream you would not have spotted the original import! Reminiscent of E.J. Thribb cf Private Eye ( and still going strong). This is much gentler than some posts that have sadly been post...
