Re: Arthur Burrows

It's a good few years back now, but I'm fairly confident that Belgrave Road address was the location I met Michael Jordan at? I was buying some spares off him and he shared with me huge volumes of original advertising of numerous machines. He told me then he was very ill and although I bought spares...

Re: Jubilee Riviera Decals

Hello Pete, Some machines are 1 pull per coin, others 2 pulls per coin. Many original fruit symbol machines were converted to OXO style machines. They were for a time period far more popular and profitable than the previous old style fruit symbol version. Usually when conversion was done original gl...

Re: Jubilee Riviera Decals

I've always avoided using touchup paint on any artwork unless it's black and usually where I'm only touching up a black background! You can buy replacement artwork ...

Re: eBay return scam

I thought most disputes now are resolved initially by ebay automatically e.g., no human visibility/interaction? E.g., if the seller pays by PayPal and sends an item by non tracked delivery, then ebay machine automatically sides with the buyer if they claim it was not received. And in the above case,...

Re: Is it Classed as Trade Stimulator? Info Please!

Pierre-Abel Nau is the maker, I believe. In Paris, in very early 20th century. Name is on the machine? Les Petits Chevaux? Made half a dozen or so different machines, made a red/white/blue horse machine of smaller size. Would think any of his surviving machines would be in the region of low thousand...

Re: Firman bandit identified

It's threads like these where a machine, not regularly seen on the open market at a seller price that seems excessive to the majority of would be buyers, can bring another identical machine onto the marketplace where the owner would be happy to sell at a significantly lower price than the original s...

Re: Help for a TV show needed

Reminds me of someone who supplied number of original working bandits for a TV crew for an outside filming location. These were hired with insurance. However, also needed large number of empty cabinets for the background. These were purchased as likely to be damaged in "explosive action scenes&...
