Mills side vendor
Hi all,
How easy is it to fit a mint vendor on a Mills castlefront? How do the connections work and is it a worthwhile exercise? Any advice would be appreciated.

Mills bandit timing issue
Hi folks, need some advice from a greater mind than mine: Finally got the Romanhead back together but I cannot understand why the reels stop in sequence 1, then 3, then 2. Have looked at it for hours, looked at pics taken when disassembling. As the brakes drop off the timing lever, that is order the...

Where to obtain Mills parts
Hi just looking for advice on where to obtain Mills parts - specifically, the lower coin chute assembly and 2 pieces from the coin escalator, the check detector lever and coin bar release lever. Quite happy to buy a complete escalator if there's one out there. If not, any advice on companies in the ...

Re: Artwork on side of Mills bandits
Many thanks for all your efforts - very interested. Not much up on artwork, so I have a person who was going to redraw freehand using pictures. I am going to ring and ask how much easier and probably better with stencil. Your idea of keeping within the penny machine society is very good. Perhaps eve...

Re: Artwork on side of Mills bandits
A picture of any kind would be good but happy to purchase a stencil if anybody has one, even a photocopy of a stencil would point me in right direction. Still struggling to even find a picture of side of slot with guilding on it on web. The knowledge of people on this site !!CHEERS!! is quite remark...

Artwork on side of Mills bandits
Hi Does anybody have any pics of the side of an early Mills bandit showing the patterns on the side? Are these original and as it left the factory or have I obtained a bandit that an early operator has tarted up? I am looking at the sides and there definitely is floral scrollwork on the sides of the...

Pace Comet wrinkles, probably common to most machines
All advice appreciated Recently purchased a Pace Comet in good condition. It has a few wrinkles which I am trying to iron out. It looks like somebody has done a reasonable refurb, but not quite got the putting back together right. 1. 2nd and 3rd reel stop at same time. 2. The finger which slides beh...

Re: Old allwin - any ideas?
Many thanks for information. Will have a go at steaming stickers off. I take it the old electric terminals are not worth touching. Wondered whether it was possible to get some old brass knobs to fit on. Were these just wired to early batteries - never really understood the concept? Will keep my eyes...

Fancy Allwin Reserve
Hi Any information on age, manufacturer I would be grateful of. Picked up at Beaulieu Motor Auction. I have enclosed some pictures. Think it may be French. Has some writing inside - pencil, says Southend Pier. Has a nice reserve ball mec. Unfortunately, no payout slides, so if anybody has some parts...

Mills Roman head
Hi, Bit new to this, but over the years have done a few bandits and allwins up at best averagely but recently purchased at auction a Mills Roman Head with skill-stops and gold award for restoration. Paid too much for it, but hey ho, boys and toys, so I am really trying to do this properly - complete...
