Re: Mills Operator Bell

Badpenny, could you explain more what you mean with this. I can't understand it - I blame my bad English :woops: Incidentally, looking at your photos again, the one of the striker, it is hinged at the top isn't it? It needs to be and spring loaded so it will bend as it passes back under the discs re...

Re: Mills Operator Bell

I have tried to check a bit more. It's a bit of rubbing between the reels and the two first reel brakes. I also noticed that the reel kicker (see attached pics) looks as if somebody has welded on it ? :!: Does anyone have a picture of how it should look on the Mills Operator Bell? I also think that ...

Mills Operator Bell

Hi, This weekend I have been taking the reelbundle apart and cleaning the parts the best i could. I did this because the wheels did not move as freely as they should. But when I mounted the reel bundle back I noticed that the main reel shaft was not quite straight. I think this is what makes the pro...

Hi Mr bandito,

Very interesting pics you sent! I've been searching for something like this.
Would it be possible for you to email me pics from this booklet?
Please let me know if you can do that or where I could get one.

Thank you again.

Re: Aristocrat Nevada

Hi thank you a lot. I was a bit afraid to unscrew the slide top cover, but I did and actually find that this slide top cover was mounted backwards. When I mounted it back it seems to work OK. I shall remove the slides for cleaning later. Guess the earlier owner had mounted this cover wrong. I will l...

Aristocrat Nevada

Hi, I recently bought an Aristocrat Nevada -1964. It has been unplayed for many years and does have some problems! 1. The payout seems to not be working - if there's money in the tube it often all runs out when I pull the arm. I understand that it's important that the payout slides are clean. How do...
