Re: BMCo. 24 Cup auto pay allwin identified

Scottie...Oh NO! Not hinges! The one thing I don't seem to have in my supply department. I noticed in one of the pictures that one piece of a hinge was visible so I was hoping that all the other pieces might be in a sack some place and come with the machine. But, if that is the only problem with the...

Re: My New Allwin

Pete, Thanks for the information. I wish it had been more like...."These machines are so simple, they practically fix themselves." But, I never sell anything so I have the rest of my life to get it right. Hopefully getting it working correctly won't be the last thing I do. The guy I bought...

Re: My New Allwin

I just purchased the machine about an hour ago. I talked him down to $400 total for the machine and shipping. It is coming from the other side of the US so I am sure it will take a week or so to arrive. Is that its name..."24 Cups"? I have never seen an automatic payout machine before. Doe...

Re: What is it?

Rebel...Thanks for the kind words. People don't always use the word "Thingie" in the correct way. Or you can tell they are really old because they will use the last century term "Thing a ma bob" instead of today's hip term "Thingie". Also, I have always found that "...

Re: What is it?

BadPenny...I will sit the Mills/Sega slug catcher aside until you get a chance to stop by for it. You will probably have better luck catching up with me at my shop in Downtown Greensboro so I will take it there. I sell shiny stuff and do watch and jewelry repair. https://www.google.com/maps/uv?hl=en...

Re: What is it?

Thanks for all the great suggestions on fixing the play field. Here is what I have tried in the past and also what I did this time. Try #1. On another Allwin, I completely removed the play field from the game and tried to evenly heat the entire thing with a heat gun. I thought that if I got the enti...

Re: Flatten plastic

DSC01512b.jpg I have tried flattening a play field with the gentle application of heat from a heat gun with not much luck. I even tried laying a piece of glass over it to distribute the heat evenly. The glass shattered. The oven scares me. With the heat gun I only screw up one small area at a time....

Flatten OW backflash & unidentified tin

I just added "The Lucky Twelve" Allwin to my collection. Banging around inside was the small metal container shown in the pictures. I looked everywhere for the two screws it would have hung from. I even checked in the bottom cash drawer for screws or screw holes. Maybe all the pennies that...

Flatten a plastic backflash

Topic copied, edited and merged from Flatten OW backflash & unidentified tin - Site Admin. If someone has come up with an innovative new way to flatten the plastic playfield I would love to hear about it. This poor game is unplayable until I find a way to flatten the playfield over the winning ...

Re: My New Allwin

The machine arrived safely yesterday. I took out the glass so the pictures would be a little clearer. The backflash looks a lot like the other backflash except mine is badly faded. In the corner where it didn't get much light you can see the true color. The machine is in good shape but it still need...

Re: My New Allwin

When the machine arrives next week I'll take a close up picture of the backflash and post it here. Did this machine have a model name like the later machines?

Re: My New Allwin

Thanks Treefrog for the information. Do you, or anyone, have a picture of what the machine should look like. It looks like there is a piece of metal missing on the play field and around the payout handle.

BMCo/Bolland's allwins identified

Hi Everyone....I just bought an Allwin and I have no clue who made it, when it was made or what it was called. Also the play field looks wrong. Does anyone recognize it?

Ebay (USA) in the sold listings # 112348681174
