Re: Is it Classed as Trade Stimulator? Info Please!
Thank you for the info. Just trying to collect as much detail about it as possible. Looks complete and original. Not sure if it's worth cleaning or leaving as it is?

Is it Classed as Trade Stimulator? Info Please!
What is it? Can anyone help with a recent machine I picked up. I'm putting this message out there in the hope of gaining more info about this old device. Very heavy probably cast iron, all complete. Has the top banner but broken off cleanly. I dropped a coin in and it played and paid a token on the ...

Cleaning Inside Tick Tock or Hidden Treasure

Surely Bryans wouldn't expect operators back in the day having to strip half the mech just to clean the dust or flies that end up below the swinging pendulums, or am I wrong?

Re: Caille 4 reeler
From what I remember the 1st reel is spun by friction, usually provided by the 1st regular reel. The amount of friction was controlled by shim washers. They were a pain to get the correct pressure. The "blue" 1st reel never spins as fast as the other 3 reels as it is not kicked by the kick...

Re: Elephant House Auctions
Unfortunately, Coventry have closed their doors to any more submissions.. so anyone who wants to sell those machines that don't sell at EH will be out of luck! Not sure why Coventry didn't leave entries open till Tuesday after EH, just in case any late entries are submitted!

Re: Elephant House Auctions
I think the reason Steve does so well is he is totally tuned in to modern marketing techniques. His website gets updated regularly (especially the closer to auction day..sometimes adding stuff the night before!!!), he pushes messages thru Twitter and Facebook, has the YouTube channel. In this day an...

Re: Payout with a difference
Strange as it seems, I've had 2 Bryans in the past with this spike on. I ended up removing them! Still can't figure out why they were there????

Your former statement is more than likely....Silly Prices!
Most of the Allwins on eBay have been there for weeks if not months... Prices are way too high! A few years ago when an Allwin got listed on eBay it was gone within a day.
Just like Slots, prices go up and down over the years.
