Re: Rotamint Duett

Meh......not doing well. I replaced all of the reel springs with ones that are too strong. The additional force is making it hard for the motor to turn the wheels so they are will all have to be removed. Also I am going to replace the 3mm Spring lines with "rubber" stuff from eBay that can...

Re: Rotamint Duett

We'll, I have found that the right hand relay is the main control one, and I cannot get a spare, so I have wired a jumper around it. I have had to put new springs in each of the reels, and took ages to get the coin dispense to work. It does now. So the final job, is new drive lines. I have some 3mm ...

Re: Rotamint Duett

Hi, thanks all for comments. The Duett is not the same as some of the other Rotamints I have owned. Most start upon coin acceptance and then you stop the reels to play. The Duett accepts coin and lights left hand button which is labelled start. (Although mine does not work) once started ( I am using...

I've done a couple now, currently replacing the motor on one. The help from Europe is most welcome, as are their replacement parts.

Re: Rotamint Karat

Ha ha ha!
I'm actually quite fond of electro-mechanical stuff.

Anyway - thanks for the assistance Stuart, but all of mine are wall mounted. The Karat is 1961 version of this Rotamint and mine runs on 3d.

Rotamints

Topic moved & merged - Site Admin. I now have three of these b*^&&%^$ things. I have a Luxus with a missing front glass(as does someone else on this forum) and I now have a Rotamint Karat (1961). This has damage to the driver motor and is missing a switch on the coin acceptor. Has anyon...

Coin Mechs

I have a "Sweet ADD-A-LINE" a decimal AWP from the 1970's running early decimal currency and made by Mariane Electronics (later part of Diageo PLC)...and it's the early decimal bit gets me. I'd like to change the 50p and 5p slots that do not form part of the payout system and convert them ...

Many thanks for your help here. I have finally fixed the third reel. A wire had become detached on the third brake button. Trouble is it is behind the coin-payout tube so was not visible. In doing this, I worked out that the relay contact diagram I sent you for the Duette is not relevent to the lexu...

Hi - I also suffer from 'I've got two of these' syndrome. One's a Deluxe and the other is (I think) a Luxus. Both are just about working, but are not working properly. Anyway, back to the question. The choke seem to blow on these things after being left and yes, you are correct it has no function in...
