Here are a couple of photos of the inside of a Corn Exchange which may help.

Auto cigarette Allwin identification

I picked this Allwin yesterday and although it is not the most exciting machine it pays out the winning cigarette automatically. I was hoping someone out there might be able to identify the manufacturer for me. Looking at the case, maybe Wondermatics.
Thanks

Re: The Wonders List

Interesting machine that wouldn't take too much work to complete. I was the under bidder in the room and on reflection should have pushed you further. I left the auction trying to console myself with the feeble excuse that I didn't need another allwin in my life. Well done.

Six or More Project

I have had the opportunity to buy this Six O More for a while now, but the condition has always put me off. However a few wise words from Treefrog and I am now the proud owner of this project. I was wondering does anyone have any pictures of an original Six or more before I attempt any restoration T...

Bolands White City

I picked up a three machines yesterday that had been stored for 50 years, 2 Allwins and 1 Bandit. I have realised that I will never get round to restoring the White City so have decided to put it for sale on the market section of this site. I took a gamble on the Auto payout BMCo Playball. Much to m...

Re: Treble Pools

It is fascinating how these machines get reworked in the name of what was fashionable at the time and would entice the punter to spend their money. Looking back a 100 year old dice game with moving parts is much more attractive than what looks like a static Arsenal footballer. Here is a photo of the...

Re: Bryans Treasure Machine

I have found the number 190 stamped on the frame and painted albeit faintly on the outside of the back panel. The machine is absolutely stuffed with old pennies and has been stored since decimalisation, so I doubt Bryans did any work on it in 1978. I will try and get the mech out over the weekend to...

Re: Bryans Treasure Machine

I have started to do a bit of detective work, even though I keep telling myself to finish off other projects first. I have removed the back and the serial number of 190 can be found along with Roman numerals that don't seem to make sense. I have removed the card that says Treasure Machine to reveal ...

Bryans Hidden Treasure

Has anyone come across a Bryans Treasure Machine? It looks identical to a Hidden Treasure. I have just purchased it locked without any keys, so at the moment I am unable to have a close look inside.

Treble Pools

I went out this morning with the intention of purchasing a Bryans Elevenses. Stuck in the corner of the van was this Oliver Whales Treble pools. Locked with no keys, so of course I bought it. Now to get it open.

Re: A pair of Little Dukes

Yes they are on old penny. There are only 3 payouts 2,6, or 8 pence. Interestingly the symbols on the reels seem to be astrological, and fruit with phrases on them.

A pair of Little Dukes

I thought I would share with these Jennings Little Dukes I picked up this morning. They are in a bad way but needed to be saved. Falling apart and obviously home to a few mice over the last 5 decades. Has anyone any advice on making replacement backs?

Re: Duo Mat clockwork question

I am currently restoring an Exacta with the same issues. The Mech completely bummed up. As I didn't want to start stripping down the clock to it component parts I removed it and gave it a good squirt of brake cleaner from all angles. Once dried, which it does quickly, oil all the brass lubricating p...

Re: Exacta lock picking

The Clock did look a sorry state. I took a punt, as it looked unusual, and I like the sixties arcade look. Two week's of gluing cleaning and fettling, the only thing I had to replace was the minute hand, as it fell off in transit. Even the back door flattened out, after being left under the mat in m...

Re: Exacta lock picking

Here are a couple of before pictures. I now have the mech out of the machine and, although the reels spin freely, the mech is jammed rock solid. Degrees and lubricating hasn't made any difference. I'm looking at maybe an anti-tamper device.

Re: Exacta lock picking

The back is now off. Everyone of the 18 screws put up a fight, a chisel and mole grips proved to be the best tool. It was quite exciting lifting the back off to see what 50 years of being locked away had done. The insides look complete, with the cash box inside and reels spinning freely. However the...

Exacta lock picking

Is it possible for a complete novice to pick a Zeiss Ikon lock from a Gunther Wulff Exacta? The cabinet is locked and has been for many years. My 19 piece pick picking set turned up yesterday and after a couple of hours fumbling around decided to sleep on it. I have looked at a lot of threads on thi...
