Re: Aristocrat Clubman & Clubmaster
Hi guys - I don't suppose anyone has a lead on where to find the replacement aluminium strip that wraps around the base?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Aristocrat Arcadian coin entry advice
Hi Bandit, I am many miles north, formerly of sort of sunny Bridlington :) My slot machine love came from an old arcade on the seafront there called Fun City - unfortunately work and life has taken me away from my home town, but not my love of the slots! I think for sure yours would have started out...

Re: Aristocrat Arcadian coin entry advice
Hi Bandit I think it’s possibly an Olympic you are rescuing, although pics of the wider mech would and casing would be helpful - the Olympic and Arcadian had very similar cases. Attached are a couple of pics of the coin chute from my Olympic - I think if your pics are all you have of the mech, you’r...

Re: Aristocrat Cash Box Plating
Thanks Treefrog. If you find one in the collection I'd be interested! Unfortunately the plate on the front wasn't in that condition when I got there to collect the machine. The previous owner had lost the key and had been quite brutal in his attempts to get the lock off. The damage was so great that...

Re: Troostwijk auction in Belgium
Troostwijk is mainly an industrial auction that clears bankrupt company assets etc. It's not a traditional auction house and is more like an ebay as suggested above. I've bought industrial printing machinery from it in the past for my company, but never a personal purchase.

Re: Auction in Wakefield tomorrow
If it helps, I made a bid of £400 on the second item and didn't win, so the reserve was definitely north of that mark.

Re: New member from the North
Thanks guys, after a long and chilly Saturday in the garage I did make some progress with the machine. It's spinning quite nicely, although sometimes the coin drop jams randomly and has to be manually released. I've arranged for the machine to be serviced by Mr Henry Powell and hopefully get her run...

Re: New member from the North
Thanks guys, very interesting already and appreciate all your input. After a 30 minute struggle to get the cabinet open (key was inside somehow) I got a look at the issues, of which there are many! The arm was jammed, coin slot jammed, coin drop jammed - sorry if these are the wrong descriptions! Af...

Re: New member from the North
Hi guys, spot on, its the one from Elite - they are just around the corner from me :) I did also try to buy the allwin from this weeks auction but the reserve was beyond what I was willing to go to on a first purchase. The machine is in a reasonably rough state compared to the auction pictures - typ...

Good morning everyone, I am Dan, a long time lover of vintage slot machines, and now I'm delighted to say the proud owner of one! I grew up in Bridlington, surrounded by the arcades, many of which still had a lot of the vintage allwins and Aristrocrats available to play on. We also had a fantastic m...
