Anyone got a Windsor Buckingham and are fed up looking at those ugly swans? well how about a new set like these I've just finished for a customer with a fondness for a certain make of car :cool:

There's a Shipman 'Select-A-Bar 4 column Table Model Vending Machine' in the October 10th Rosmalen sale One of the few machines I like in that auction is the lot before the select-a-bar which, I think , was also made by Shipman, the razor blade dispenser, Ive always liked the shape and the crazy id...

1937 Shipman trade stim info please

I've been offered this trade stim at a good price, but I'm not sure about it. Does it qualify as a true trade stim? I guess it does but it doesn't seem to have enough going on to make it an interesting counter game in its day. I'm not even sure I like the look of it and I don't like almonds !PUZZLED...

with regard to the Watling "good luck coin" shown above, its got good luck symbols crammed in on every side, The swastika,a horseshoe, a wishbone,a four-leaf clover and......anyone any idea what the symbol on the left is? !PUZZLED!

but which 12 companies made copies? The swastika on the first machine IS unusual as it points the wrong way for the good luck version. The Nazis reversed the Buddhist (and several other old religions) good luck symbol for their flag/logo. The one on the Gold Seal is the one used for good luck.
