Mills(?) silver Bells
Just out of interest, can anyone tell me about this machine on ebay? I'm not interested in buying it, it just looks odd; the side panels look slightly curved and very new and the guy says (and this seems hard to believe) that the back is riveted on and he's never seen inside, but it works OK. Sounds...

Re: Bingolett..... help please!
If you look at the video on youtube of the Bingolett the glass on that one has the payouts correctly painted in amounts (6d 1' 3d) that look nice. but back to questions about my machine and requests for advice. I think the machine will work as is except for the big problem of the missing payout mech...

Re: Bingolett..... help please!
Happy to post the W/D, will it come out large enough to see? I'll try, if not I can send you the file.. I'm sure you're right about the double transformer as the W/D hints at two voltages. Any ideas on the missing parts? Also did I pay too much? £210, not that I care, I love it LOL
Thanks for help!

Bingolett..... help please!
machine1.jpg I'm just about to start work on this Bingolett, the case and playfield are in very good condition, as you can see from the photo, and inside the wiring seems complete and in good order, except for the transformer area and the fact that there are clearly at least two parts missing. mech...

Re: JPM
Like you, I know nothing about this type of machine other than the fact that they usually have no value. It could of course be the world's rarest machine but I suspect there is something fishy going on here. A look at the bidding shows the return of two or three bidders with similar sounding names a...

Re: Paint stripper
My son in law is a professional specialist painter, just now he's hand painting a 1910 vintage car for a collector (the third he's done). I asked his advice and he says nothing is as good as Nitromores, strangely though he says never use the 'craftmans' version, always use the basic, it's much thick...

A great mech and a great art deco case.
just a little more paint work and I need to make a jackpot feed chute (easy ,nothing special needed)

Re: Columbia Deluxe, Jackpot feed ?
as far as I can find out I need a straight chute that runs the coin against the jackpot slot, when its full the coins fall into the coin box. the more I work on this machine the more I love it, so complex in some ways yet so simple in others. take the anti-tilt mech on the top of the escalator, I as...

Re: Bureau de change
The columbia deluxe im working on takes old 6d or new 1p with out any conversions ,it will ,I think take 20p or 5p as well!! but I havn't tested that fully yet. At first glance this seems a failing in the design but in actual fact its not as the machine was designed to pay out the most recent coins ...
