Re: Electro-mechanical Wall Machines

What a great video, such fun! You certainly are an expert on that machine, whenever I've played one I have had very little success. Definitely a machine I could make space for in my collection.
Thanks for posting, cheered me up no end! !!GOODONE!!

Re: Win a Prize backflash - original or not?

The one on Ebay is the same machine as the one from the Arena, stripped of its dark varnish.

Re: Auction in Wakefield tomorrow

I think the last time I saw Poz was either at the Copthorne Jukebox Show or at Ascot Racecourse Jukebox Show, at least 15 years ago. However, using the magic Google search engine , it appears he is still about, and annoyingly looking no different than the last time I saw him, I wish the same could b...

Re: Sad news

Very sad news indeed. I just heard today. I met Gerry a few times over the years at auctions, and have visted Wookey before and since Gerry took over. He did a great job of injecting new life into Wookey. I especially enjoyed the area devoted to clowns. The Arcade was always good fun. Great loss.

Re: Bryans Pendulum - Which Top is Correct?

It is so hard to see from the grainy illustration, what the top looked like. I was just offering the option of a lantern style top, and using the crane picture as an example. It could well have been round rather than square. I agree with arrgee, the cranes had both globes and flame shaped shades. Un...
