Re: Where can I buy a slot?

At risk of being accused of touting for trade - before spending hundreds of pounds, I suggest it would be wise to invest £2 and join the Arena if you want an unbiased idea of classic bandit values based on what they made in previous sales. There were quite a few bandits at the Coventry sale this yea...

Gowerpoint Manufacturing Company Limited, Cardiff. 1978 promo video - already looking (and sounding) distinctly vintage:

Re: The Most Reliable Allwin

Yes, John had great faith in the Parker's allwins. Forum member and vintage slot operator LuckyStar also complained about Bryan's allwins and swears by Wondermatics for play appeal combined with reliability. Most of us are not in a position to judge, because the treatment a game gets at home is so d...

Hey - gameswat, if you don't mind sharing your labours for free, perhaps you could email me a high res. version of that file so I could put it in Resources should anyone else need the artwork in the future.

Re: rockola world's fair

Hi Craig, Congratulations on your purchase - looks like a nice example. Years ago I wrote an article on Rockola pintables - I must get around to posting it in the Arena. They made a really interesting selection of innovative games before they turned their attention to jukeboxes. The World Series is ...

Re: Quiz Machines

Nice flyers - copied to Resources. shame about the free play button.. My thought exactly - it's come out of a packing case in perfect original condition (and there can't be many of these in any condition) only to have a hole drilled through it for a modification that detracts from the game - and the...

Sorry about all the hassle - these things can be very frustrating, I know. Of course, I should have realized you couldn't use the email & pm buttons until you were logged in as a member! Anyway - it seems your last attempt to join was successful and only fell at the last hurdle when the activati...

Re: Win Easy identified

That's true. I guess it was originally designed as coin return only but later versions offered the chance to win more than your original stake. Given the layout, perhaps it would be a "Win Too Easy".

Re: Win Easy identified

I've just been sent these images of a WinEasy. According to the owner, the ball is made of rubber - hopefully some toy company still produces 1 1/4" India rubber balls. A squash ball is 1 1/2" - a little oversize maybe.

I've found an old picture of your game. It's made by Bolland's Amusement Machine Supply Co. or British Manufacturing Co. and called Wineasy

Also see this thread for an idea of what the cabinet should look like (all these B.M. Co. coin return games are quite similar).
