Re: Aristo 4 reeler advice please
My hoots mon 4 reeler has problems with the payouts. Can't figure out which part tells the machine how many coins to pay out. I'm guessing it's to do with the circuit card that has a row of resistors fixed to it. I checked all the connections from the mech to the plug and mine all perform as they sh...

Re: Elephant House Auctions
I passed up on the export chief to bid on the solid front chief. I was the under bidder on it. Both looked nice. IMO the solid front had been rechromed. Much too clean to be original as stated in the description. I must be one of the few collectors willing to pay a good price for a bandit, but my de...

Re: Elephant House Auctions
I was delighted to win two bags of vintage washers at the Coventry auction. Lucky old me!
I was interested in the Chinese front Jennings, but the chipboard cabinet was a no no for me.
Went home with my wedge, will be back next year

Re: Coventry Auction - Sunday 27th November 2016
Just noticed a nice selection of machines added to this year's Coventry auction. Got my eye on one or two already

Re: Elephant House Auctions
Rolatop fetched £3450 plus 10%. Way too much in my opinion. Guess the guy who bought it should have gone to specsavers

Re: Elephant House Auctions
Rolatop good bits, it works ok. Pays out ok. Has a good back door and escalator looks good. Bad bits, lots of putty inside at the top of the lower casting. Painted over on the outside, no skull stop bits inside on mech, no vendor gubbings inside machine. Base plate chipped in the corner as banditos ...
