Re: 1952 Genco 400 vertical pinball
Here are a couple of photos. The whole playfield is on a slight tilt and there is a rail along the bottom that feeds the balls to the lifter then at the top is a flexible flap that pushes the balls off the lifter down a ramp to the flipper. Hope this makes sense.

That a very interesting piece you have there can't say I've seen one or even one similar.
Good luck finding photos to help the restore.
I hear plenty of stories about amazing old coin op gear coming out of tassie for such a small state it has some great secrets

Re: Price check on a 1952 Genco 400 vertical pinball
The only control comes from the button on the lower left which mechanically moves the flipper (very slightly). After your six balls you have the option of buying one to six extra balls, either using built up credits or holding the button and inserting an extra coin. If anyone's interested, I'll make...

Re: Price check on a 1952 Genco 400 vertical pinball
No internal photos, I need to improve the lighting first. After Xmas, I'll see what I can do.
There is a thing with heaps of disks bolted over the transformer.
I took a quick video the other day - I'll see if I can upload it to youtube.

Thanks for the reply.
I purchased the machine anyway. Paid way too much, but I'm still super excited. Got it home, spent about half an hour and had it running 100%.
Here are a couple of photos:.

1952 Genco 400 vertical pinball
Hello again,
I have the chance to buy a 1952 Genco 400 vertical pinball. What sort of value would you put on one of these?
Also how rare are they? In Australia they would be rare - how about the rest of the world?

Re: 1930s Atlas Grip tester ready for restoration
Some good news - I've been emailing Roger about modifying his decal set to read "1 Penny" instead of "1cent", as my coin insert says "1 penny" as we didn't change to decimal (dollars and cents) till 1966.

1930s Atlas Grip tester restoration
Hi everyone - finally taken possession of a 1930s Atlas Grip Tester. It looks to be complete except the back door and coin box, if it even had one. I can't wait to begin restoring it. I've found the John zuk videos on you tube and that's what I'm aiming for. Does anyone know where I'd get my hands o...

Yes, sorry, my mistake. The photo shows the part I need. The coil is all still intact - just missing the shown piece.

Thanks again for the reply.
I spent the afternoon playing around and you were spot on 12v is perfect. They must have had an external battery connected maybe!!
I got the lower kicker working and the bell but the middle kicker is missing the armature. Would anyone have one of these floating around??

Re: 1930 era pinball machine help needed
AWSOME - thanks for the reply. I was literally scrolling that pre war page as the email notification came through. I'm very excited about it. This machine is in very good original condition. The only thing I've done so far is wiped the glass and adjusted the coin mech to get it working. The game has...

1930s Rebound pinball identified
Hi there, I've recently purchased a very old coin operated pinball machine and I'm unable to did any info on it. On the outside it has no visible marking, but the apron has holes which may have held instructions or name plates maybe? The machine has holes for scoring, as per usual, but some holes ha...

Re: US Marshall's Shooting Gallery
Thanks for editing the post what did I do wrong?
Does anyone else own one of these? I only know of two in Australia. Mine's in far better condition. I'm just wanting to find out what is drawn on each target?

US Marshall's Shooting Gallery
Topic merged - Site Admin. Hi everyone, thought someone might like to see my US Marshall's 1950s shooting gallery. I wanted to restore it but was in really good original condition but the gun was bent so I've just replaced it with a NOS barrel and gun sides from Crow River Trading. I loved it befor...
