Re: 1p Coin Slide?
Hello Splitpin,
You are welcome, By the way the 5 cent and a new penny are the same size across the new penny is a little thicker if that helps.
regards JRA.

Re: Has anyone bought from an American Auction House on Line
Hello Markymark, I have bought about 20-25 machines from the States over the last couple of years and never had a problem. Postage varies from £30 to £150 depending on size and weight. The killer is the VAT@ 20% on top of the purchase price and on top of that Parcelforce charge £8 handling fee. So a...

Re: Churchill Columbia ??
Hello all, I have for some time wanted to add a Columbia to my collection but have been told to make sure to check it throughout because the machines are made of pot metal and are prone to breaks and cracks, also the round escalator can be very troublsome if not in working order. So far I have not f...

Re: Why up North?
Hello all AGAIN, Having read all the comments regarding the auction I can understand the reasons for the one a year approach (costs etc) So if two a year is not possible why not alternate between north and south every other year? Just a thought. Regards JRA.

Re: Slider's: Come one Come all - Win-A-Prize Competition!
Hello All, It was interesting to note in the Bones information 'No Time Wasters'. Does this only apply to prospective buyers and not to sellers? I for one had put a substantial bid in for the machine only to be let down at the last moment. Still another one to add to my 'do not deal with' list.

Hello,
Thank you Pennymachines and Ballymad for your information I found it very useful.
Just as a matter of interest I wonder if you know what it went for at the auction in Fife?

Re: Barn Yard Golf
Hi spintop, The picture is the same machine pictured by Ballymad so it has travelled a long way from Fife to Kent. The dealer was the same miserable sod you spoke to, camel coat and all. Mind you, he cheered up a bit when I got my money out. Sorry I pipped you to the post, better luck next time. Reg...

Re: Help with unknown American machine
Hello, I too saw a green trade stimulator called "Barn Yard Golf" at The Detling antiques fair on Saturday. After a quick look over it I decided it was a bit strange but did not think it was a repro. Anyway after a bit of a think I bought it. When I returned home I did some investigation w...

Re: Unknown lot
Hello all, Thank you all for your interest in my question and the replies received. My first thought was that the machine was a Daval 21 that had been got at and was really asking for confirmation from anyone with more knowledge than myself if this was the case. I would like to make it clear that I w...
