Re: Allwin Double Your Money
I've got 2 locks with no keys and I'm just in the process of trying to fix one. I bought 2 blanks and I've split the lock by grinding off the 2 tabs. It's a very simple 2 lever mechanism but I can see there are a variety of combinations and it's going to be quite a precise job to get the right degre...

Re: Whales Win a Chew backflash
Thanks Scottie. I have a pretty clear pic of your version that I'm working on now, but I think I just about have enough of mine left to try and keep it to the original design. I just need to go to my newsagents now with a ruler to measure his chewing gum!

Interesting that Scotty's was for the sugar coated gum, mine was for the foil covered sticks. It will be interesting to see how much they have changed in size.

Whales Win a Chew backflash
Has anyone come across this incarnation of a Whales 'Win a Chew' before? I'd love to see an image as guidance before I begin the jigsaw puzzle. I've seen the one with the leprechaun below win / lose gallery, but not this version. A testament to 20 years of sunlight on a Whales backflash. https://www...

Re: Shortages having a knock on effect for us?
I'm glad I saw this post about Allan at Amicus. Just given me a very reasonable price for a drop off to here in wildest North Norfolk. £40 cheaper than a bloke who lives a few miles up the road. Useful contact.

Re: Media blast set up for home use
Remember you are pumping air into the cabinet so it doesn't just need sealing it needs somewhere for all the air to escape from otherwise you will just blow it out from every seal, the main job of the shop vac is to void all the air you are pumping in. For soda blasting in this type of cabinet you ...

Re: Media blast set up for home use
I agree with Paul, I bought a Millar soda blasting setup and built a cabinet but it still created so much dust in the workshop I gave it up in the end. As mentioned above you need a lot of compressor power and the flow of baking soda can be a little problematic (clogging etc). I'm sure if you have a...

If there had been one, it would probably have been ripped off and listed on eBay by now, so probably not unfortunately.
