Re: Novelty Merchantman Crane ??

The way to go here is to go with an original 120 volt motor and gearbox that I think you were offered previously. This is the way the machines were operated originally in countries with a 240 volt supply, ie by adding a 240 to 120v stepdown transformer, rather than by replacing the motor and gearbox...

Re: Kiss o Meter and Skill machine query

Wow! How helpful is this forum? The above photo answers one of the mysteries re the Love Meter, i.e. how the lights were mounted. To solve the coin chute link I'll need closer photos of the mechanism and perhaps a description and here I've had a letter off forum from old friend John Peterson (well n...

Kiss o Meter and Skill machine query

I have some queries concerning two machines that coin op collector friends of mine here in Australia have acquired earlier this year. The first of these is a skill flip game with a single cigarette as a prize which turned up on Australian ebay. It has a cast aluminium front with a wooden cabinet. I ...

Re: CONVEYOR on Ebay-UK

There is an Australian copy called Elevator. The mechanism is exactly the same but it lacks the beautiful art deco graphics. I've got a photo or two somewhere of one of these and post it when I can find it. A Conveyor was also sent to a coin op machine manufacturer like Taito or Sega in Japan in the...

JDO Racing Flip Game

Tried to post question twice without luck so will try again without the photos and send them separately. I've recently acquired a German wall game called Racing Flip made by JDO Apparatenbau, probably in the sixties. It is an electromechanical two car but single player racing game which looks great ...

Re: Oliver Whales Selecta Cigarette Payout Query

Thanks to slotalot and Pennymachines for their help and all the trouble they have gone to. I had not thought of a revolving drum as a solution. I was aware of the two missing levers and wire linkage as I used to have a Supa Selecta with a similar 123 mechanism with the two extra links missing and ha...

Missing allwin vending mechanisms

A friend of mine has an Oliver Whales Selecta Cigarette machine which gives one, two or three single cigarettes as prizes. It is missing the single cigarette delivery system and chute that held the cigarettes. the rest of the payout mechanism is there. Can anyone help with a photo of this mechanism ...
