Re: More bloody stupid ebay rules

Selling in general auctions such as auction houses listed on the saleroom are no better. I recently sold a slot machine in Sheffield Auction Gallery and on their internet link achieved a bid of £250 which was OK ish but you have to wait up to a month to be paid which it was, and the deduction was ov...

Re: Jamieson Automatics Starlet Information manual V1.1

Well thanks very much Dicky, that's very kind of you. As I said, I urgently require a transformer for one of these machines I am working on and, seeing as I have had no luck at all in finding one, I will wander into Maplins next time I'm in town to see if I can match one up to your figures (unless s...

Re: Jamieson Automatics Starlet Information manual V1

Hi that's a much needed great piece of work. My Autofruit needs a transformer which I am having trouble in finding by the way. My question is, am I right then in thinking that the output from the transformer is 12 volts?
Thanks again. !PUZZLED!

Thanks, that's quite an interesting snippet on my 3 Bells. I haven't touched it yet as I'm as always on with another machine at the moment, but in any case I can't source a transformer for it yet. !THUMBS! Has anyone got a transformer by any chance? :dammit:

Re: Win an Aero

I did bid on this charity entered machine but chickened out at £375. Just too much to do, but a memory jerker from my youth. P.S. I once bought a "CLOCK" with a cracked case from a charity shop in York, so they do come up at these shops now and again.

Re: Streets Penny Bowl and a Tooti Fruity Too

Totally agree, I've let items run their course only to lose out but that's the word AUCTION ! They are all at it on ebay, I was within a whisker of buying a Jag yesterday after bidding many times during the 9 day auction only for the vendor to remove it at the last minute. When I looked back at his ...

Re: Streets Penny Bowl and a Tooti Fruity Too

The Penny bowl was taken off due to lack of bids (11pounds or so )I think size and weight puts a lot of us off bidding on this type of machine. The Tooti Fruity made 332 pounds. I have bought from this seller before and his machines tend to be clean and work well. If I didn't already have a tooty fr...

Re: Roto-Pool, Roto-Fruit, Rotolite, Electrodart, Bingola, etc.

Finally got the machine home and it looks almost original particularly the front glass and the uni selectors seems good. No makers name but very much in the style Electrodart /Jamesons. Leaf switches only need a clean. However the bottom of the cabinet is damaged on the underside but is a fairly pra...

Re: Roto-Pool, Roto-Fruit, Rotolite, Electrodart, Bingola, etc.

Hi,
I've just bought this machine from the person who bought it off Ebay on Friday. I haven't seen it in the flesh yet but I will pick it up this week. I can't understand the prices yet as I have bought it for £160. I'll report on condition and front glass when I pick it up. '!'

Not the same thing, but after my Mum died, I was clearing her house and her bedside table had a wobbly leg that for twenty years had been wedged with a folded ten bob note. Bit of a character my Mum was.

Re: Ebay scam

Lets face it Ebay is just a waste of time. The number of times I have had bidders spoil the end of one of my multibid auctions by not paying is unbelievable. You have to open an unpaid item case which always ends in Ebay simply telling them not to do it again. They take the commission for the sale f...
