I stripped my try your twist of the red and white paint
Over lockdown it took 4 days with a pin and a water based stripper
It had the original green paint underneath
It looks the beeze neeze mate

I know this is in a bad way but if I wasn't going on vacation this weekend I think I would have had a bid, I think it could end up as something nice POST EDIT forget that, when I first saw this it was an auction with a price of £265 now its a "buy it now" for £625 ,too much work for that ...

I wouldn’t put toughened in that it’s plate glass You can get it in most glass shops If you know any window replacement companies they always have old patio doors stored around the back That’s the glass you want They will cut it for a small charge You would need to split the unit tho with a Stanley ...
