Re: Watling Blue Seal

Thanks for your answers!
The machine has no assembly for future play. I think if it ever has one, it was removed long time ago. A sheet of paper was glued on the window.

Re: Roma Flotilla

... but you can’t beat original parts. Thats also my opinion. In case of Wulff parts it may be helpful to cast them with a modern alloy, but not printing. To use a 3D printer to build up a modell for casting is ok...but not more. I´m a little bit old school in this case, but it´s part of my hobby t...

Hi T/F. Don't suppose you have a handle plate in that useful pile, do you?
Do you need the complete assembly or only the plate?

The handles assembly takes a hammering and the weak pot metal seems most affected here, especially the internal clamp which crumble.
Hi Treefrog!
The clamp is a typical problem part on Novomat and later machines. Are this parts also recycled in the Roma?

Re: Clown Catcher, info please

The "Brevete SGDG" coin insert was a typical purchased part, used for various machines.

Are the fixing screws for the knobs (three per knob) slotted, or seemed they to be unusual?

Looks like an integrated scale.
Ask here: https://www.mass-und-gewicht.de/

There is one member who has over 2000 scales (a lot of coin operated) in his collection.

Re: French allwin machine

Hi PM! I think the top is not original, but very old. There was no red or blue paint under the enamel sign. DSCN5649.JPG The playfield seemed to become the hardest part. Here a mirrored picture of the wooden plate. The white rings marked holes. Two colums pick up three balls, the fourth activ...

Re: French allwin machine

Have removed blue and red paint in large amounts :burp:
The wooden case shows some scratches...normal for a over 100 year old machine.

There is still a lot of work to reconstruct the playfield.

French allwin machine

Just bought a nice package of machines this week  There is a early french circle skill machine, like an allwin. Tax plate is from 1914. Before attacked by showmen with paint and "nice ideas" it seemed to be a machine from high quality. Comparable machines are: "Le Turf", L`...

Re: J & M Triomphe + Schülke Loreley shooters

The gun of my Triomphe is also disappeared so I have to build up one. Would take parts from a wrecked German version and a new forged main frame, which fits to the French coins. Picture shows the difference between used German and French coins: DSCN5613.JPG Sometimes I wish this type of insert on va...

Re: Early shooter by New Polyphon

The payout mechanism was used in various machines (Zeppelinschleuder, Minerva, Teifun...) from that era. I think it was used by a lot of manufacturers. It's adjustable with or without coin return, additionally to the token. The Triumph is a purely mechanical machine; others like Loreley or Electra h...

Re: Dewag Coin heads for American bandits advert

@Treefrog
These strange machines has existed, seemed to be from Coppel, Düsseldorf.
A mate scrapped two of them in the early '70s.

@ Dave
Nice Coinhead! I haven't seen this type before. Was there an inlay in the middle?
