Re: Rowntrees Fruit Gums wrapper anybody??

Hey BritPenny, not sure where you're getting that info but I found the artwork down at my local K-Mart, it's just Xmas wrapping paper.

Rowntrees Fruit Gums wrapper anybody??

Hey there, just finished restoring this Ruffler and Walker allwin and have another example partly done so I'm now looking for a vintage Rowntrees wrapper to suit. I found a British import store and got some new packs, though the current style gums are longer so had to cut them down. If anybody has a...

Have to say that the Journey Into Space has got to be my favourite allwin graphics of all-win time! Dead sexy for sure.

Re: Parkers "Journey Into Space"

I learnt a long time ago that auction prices don't mean a lot out in the real world. For every crazy price there's always a handful of bargains for the discriminating buyer. I've never used an auction price to base my value on a machine. Obviously with a lot of deals being done via eBay these days i...

Re: Radio Rifle

Hey Chris, I don't have the links as i just printed the patents out when i found them. Took a lot of detective work to discover these two. First is a US Patent #1,776,816 "Marksmanship Indicating Device" dating from 1929. Not as useful as I'd hoped as it differs considerably from the machi...

Re: Radio Rifle

Hey there chris, yeah, I'm definately interested in some more film for my machine! I'm planning to have a bunch of my original stuff copied so I'll be able to play the hell out of the game. As yet haven't had the time to restore my machine but did have a stroke of luck recently finding two patents f...

Re: Daily rant. Daily rant. Daily rant. Daily rant.

Hey JP and others, there is an easy way to deal with this , bring up your search page and then in the description box at the top type in -mame , that's a minus symbol. This then removes any listing with the word mame in the title but leaves everything else the same. Of course you can also exclude ot...

Re: Bryans Walden Goliath Crane on Ebay-USA

I think the manual versions would've been more popular with the players and less popular with the operators. The manual appears to give the player more control. And just look at how poorly the electric mutoscopes did back when they were introduced, people love having control over what's happening.

Re: Roovers legs?

Hi, a friend of mine has contacted me after seeing this post and turns out he knew the seller of the legs. And the set is still available, so just need to finalise a deal. Thank you to the site!
