Re: Now heres a funny thing!

Could be interesting, there are old fashioned 'type set' printers out there who would be able to print from this, but as the plate is the background and outline of the fruits and numbers, this would only be in the background colour, usually black I think. The printed image could then be scanned into...

Re: Getting so much done ..

So guys, over to you for identification and probable ages. I would guess early to mid 50s for the iss meter but a bit earlier for the personality, at around mid-late 30s with its hint of Art Deco style, but I could be completely wrong (I'm used to that at home). As for the Cupids Arrow - well, Cupi...

If you visit Clive's arcade on the end of Southport pier you can still play an original monkey race game (or you could 2 years ago when I was there).

Thanks for the info coppinpr, interesting to see how a practical invention such as the escalator can turn into a piece of decoration as in the Rol A Top - very nice machine.

BMco also had a neat payout method on their automatic allwins. If you win, it pays out the coin that you just put in, so junk in, junk out. Lovely mechanism, quite different to the standard allwin mech and ingeniously designed.
