Re: Bryans Bumper

I fail to see how Pete's masterpiece is at all controllable if it's essentially like cranking the handle of a Clock.
I know I'm missing something here .....

Re: Beromat bremse one arm bandit

The bar you have marked as missing doesn't appear on all variations. It's connected at right angles to the coin holder in the gate. When the coin is pulled past the coin holder it also raises the " missing " end of the lever. The action of the mechanism entering its cycle turns an eccentri...

Re: Beromat bremse one arm bandit

Hi and welcome to the forum. Many of us collect these machines and there are limited spares about. Most of us at some point or another buy one as a breaker. It's possible the coin gate only needs a spring. It's unusual that the whole coin stop would be missing. Post a photo of that part and someone ...

Re: Jubilee International slot machine on free play

If it's anything like the ones I take it'd be looking in the wrong direction with the lens cap on.

Is the file too big or is the MP4 format not supported here?
Shove it on Youtube, or similar, then post a link to it here.

Re: Jubilee International slot machine on free play

I don't know Paul, I've recently worked on two bandits (one Poinsettia and one Ozzie) that were both doing this. I put it down to old grease slowing the return against the pump and not allowing the anvil to get past before running out of momentum. I'm gravitating towards advising OP strips and degre...

Your photo shows the mech isn't at rest (the handle is down).

Re: Jubilee International slot machine on free play

Yup ..... I said "A popular way of making a bandit go free play is to twist the rod (mentioned above) so that it misses the gap and fouls the plate. It has the same effect as finding a coin. Thus Free Play." Yours is fouling the plate. By the way PB is my brother's maiden name. BP

Re: Jubilee International slot machine on free play

Sorry chap, I did attach a photo of my own with a circle around the part, but it's all gorn never to be seen again!

However, you've obviously recognised what I was waffling about. Behind there, you should find the lever and rod.
Let us know how you get on.

Re: Jubilee International slot machine on free play

Ok, now you need to post a photo of this bit, but from behind, unless the following makes sense ...... Behind the circle there should be an arm with a rod that protrudes through the gap. As the handle is pulled it moves forward and finding a coin it stops and frees the mechanism. No coin means it ca...
