Anyone heard of this bandit company, Pacific Manufacturing, (says Made in Japan)?? Unusual machine somewhere between an Astor and Sega Lite Up.

Re: Alfred Clement - Treble Pools

A Roll out the Barrel in the States, asking the money and shipping on top perhaps only for the keen, still nice machine and the dark patina and marks around the actuator certainly adds to the look. A small repair on the left side looks to have occurred in the past, also the actuator looks to be made...

Re: Nostalgic Machines? Still in Business???

Only amusement machines I believe. there used to be a website, which appears to have gone now, but a whole selection of allwin machines, often sweetie related and some kickers, like the one on ebay below. So JC, how are you going to find time in the manufactoring of Allwins as well as the Mechanical...

Re: The Diamond congratulations!

Thanks JP, there always seems to be more support for our monarchy abroad than at home, which is a shame. People often ask the question what does it mean to be British, well these things are disappearing fast and perhaps this is the greatest asset we have.... Long may they reign God Save the Queen......

Mills Manual copy

I am not sure if Geddes or Mead are still around, even if not the publishers probably are, as such I would not sell copies of a current manual as I am sure the at some point someone would pick this up for copyright infringement. I wonder how many of the items posted in the Resource section would com...

Re: Original Mills tools on Ebay

Coppin,
This was the guy I got the manuals from, very knowledgeable. I hope your friend managed to get the "how to use" info from him, especially each of the bending tool, as I am intrigued how they work...

Re: All very quiet

Hopefully Nigel we would not need to persuade you to post, as if you enjoy reading others posts rather than contributing, without this contribution there would be nothing for you to read if we all did the same....I suspect people would love to see how you get on with these, so go for it.

Re: Original Mills tools on Ebay

I guess you asked.....well for me I would need to know what each of the tools do.....now I am going to ask a really dumb question, either because everyone knows the answer or BP provides an alternative answer.....but what is a "bender" tool...... I had assumed it was for aligning the tins/...

Re: Aristocrat payout slides

There is one that finished today on ebay. I assume this is similar, with a 15 coin payout - see link below. As has been mentioned on here a few times, Henry Powell may be a good source for slides. He may even do modern coinage if that's what you want... Just google him and you will find his website....

Re: Original Mills tools on Ebay

Yes, I was the highest bidder, so I guess a fair bit is wanted for these, as my bids were way beyond the figure finishing... You do see these come up in the States, so not extremely rare.

Merchantman Crane

A nice looking Novelty Merchantman Crane on ebay at the moment with no reserve, so unless someone persuades the seller to end early expect this to rise..... The cast front on this one is not the normal arrangement, but from the picture I am guessing the prize drawer looks broken to me, unless it is ...

Re: How not to sell on Ebay

I agree not good enough pictures or description as you cannot not easily tell what is in the boxes, but I recognise little and the castings are all Jubilee, Sega and Bally I believe.......too much of a risk to take a lucky dip and hope there are actually Mills or Jennings parts, certainly for that m...

This is a repeat of the other "HOT" thread and the answer you probably already know. Coventry is the one and only dedicated one now, although the Elephant House is growing.....Most of the others have gone....The Jukebox shows have either gone or have little slot interest, Carters got invol...

Re: traveling arcade insurance

I am sure there are one or two on this forum with showman experience, but it may be worth giving John Morley a call. Look up his website for details. I was speaking to him about this area a few weeks ago and the complexities and ways of keeping costs down. One area, if doing it a lot, is to become a...

Re: All very quiet

Well I met a really nice guy the other day who was a slot machine engineer from the '50s/'60s, great talking to him about the times when illegal gambling took place run by the Mafia type groups and how machines would get shifted from venue to venue.....I really should ask if I can record this type o...

Re: BUY IT NOW

just to add to the woes of owning, buying and selling anything, the tax people have 'invited' regular ebay sellers to offer to pay tax on their ebay sales, before the 14th of June, or face the consequences. http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/campaigns/emarket.htm#4 . I read recently that Paypal automatically t...
