Yes those machines look good in their own right (where are they know??). I've never heard of Simon of Nottingham though. Thanks for that. :P

Re: Bryans collection on ebay

That was the second time the Bollands Steer-a-Ball was on ebay. The first time it had a starting price of £500! When the auction finished with no bids I emailed him (thehauntedchurchyard) and offered him £400 cash but he replied saying he would wait till the market picked up and sell at a later date...

Re: Bryans collection on ebay

Well... when the first 12 machines came on ebay I emailed the guy to see if he would sell the Pilwin (as I got out-bid at Coventry last year for that Pilwin) and he said he had an offer on all the machines and it would make the Pilwin £1250. At that point I thought good luck to him. I ...

Re: My Buys from Coventry 08

Yes, you've done a really good job on both of them, more so on the Yours To Be Won! As it was mine Mrs Cowman wouldn't have it in the house because of the smoking theme. I've still got a before photo on my pc as below - yes great job :***

Re: penny steer-a-ball

Hi,
I'm now at the point of getting my Steer-a-Ball to work. Does anyone know what I can use as a belt? (goes around the shaft and tilts the play field). What belt/band did they use before?
Thanks in advance.

Re: What is your dream machine?

That one on ebay was 12 to 18 month ago and I was the bidding on it. It went for 600 to 700 I'm sure. Anyway, there's one at Wooky Caves. Nice machine to play but it's not mine :dammit:
