Re: Bryans Penny-Go-Round flyer

Yes, there are some around, the last one I remember selling from Arreton Barns. As with all the best games looks like you can't possibly lose! Nice and compact for a pusher. I think some made on old penny and new penny.

Re: New addition Bryans Trickler

It's a great game and the sound of the ball falling is quite pleasing. I don't know why it wasn't designed to pay out though?

Re: Green Ray Television.

I wonder how long the Green Ray at Wookey Hole has been there or if it is a recent acquisition? The artwork reminded me of the same on a VERY expensive one for sale in the US last year.

Re: Someone's not a collector ?

"betting shops that rely on slots" are not amusement arcades. The internet 'report' you refer to is well known in the amusement industry and ridiculed as being so far out of touch with reality that it is a running joke. General searches pull it up frequently. I don't need to "check ou...

Re: Someone's not a collector ?

The Gambling Commission are overstretched and undermanned as a direct result of a lack of funding of their own making since they were meant to be funded in part by the amusement arcade industry they have managed to destroy

Re: Whittaker Brothers Countdown pusher identified

I used to operate a 2 player Countdown pusher on old 10p, very reliable in that it never jammed from the slot to the deck as coins just drop straight down. The 2 player version also fits through most standard door sizes. I recall another operator got into trouble with these, tearing ten pound notes ...

Re: Shares allwin

Great eBay story BP. I was hoping for just a tad more, say a cryptic clue on the 'collector' who originally bought it from you, especially if still around now! !!HIDING!!
Now that my Ellery Queen box set has run out it would help to brighten up the day.

Re: Arcade Photographs

This fortune teller is similar to the Brighton Museum Adelphi Man Co Gipsy Fortune Teller and only has one central eye in the forehead which is unusual. It doesn't work, and I haven't seen one working, wonder if the eye moves?
