Re: Bally Gold Award Belly neon/flourescent tubes

City Electrical Factors have branches all over the place and seem able to source many items for uncommon applications. They are worth talking to I've found in the past.

Re: Streets Marksman help needed

The maker STREETS do come back to mind from years ago. They did a popular one called ''Streets Roll 'Em In'' which was a big machine with adjustable coin chutes where you rolled your 1d onto a moving conveyor belt marked into lanes with assorted win amounts ranging from 2d up to 12d. If you got your...

Re: Best old penny arcades in UK?

Humber Pastimes in Cleethorpes is still a good old family run business of near on 60 years. Some really interesting old machines and would love to know if they have any bits and bobs in the back room. Treat yourself if in the area (plus have a game of old style prize bingo whilst there). @&@

Be careful not to mention it's in Newcastle or it's on The Saleroom either. OOPS !! As they say in court, strike that from the record!

Re: Jamieson Automatics Starlet Information manual V1.1

Very nice - bet you're pleased with that! I will be getting on with mine very soon as, thanks to Dickywink again, I sourced the correct transformer, which is harder to obtain than you think because both Maplins and a large supplier on ebay took my money and said they had despatched them only to tell...

Re: More bloody stupid ebay rules

Selling in general auctions such as auction houses listed on the saleroom are no better. I recently sold a slot machine in Sheffield Auction Gallery and on their internet link achieved a bid of £250 which was OK ish but you have to wait up to a month to be paid which it was, and the deduction was ov...

Re: Jamieson Automatics Starlet Information manual V1.1

Well thanks very much Dicky, that's very kind of you. As I said, I urgently require a transformer for one of these machines I am working on and, seeing as I have had no luck at all in finding one, I will wander into Maplins next time I'm in town to see if I can match one up to your figures (unless s...

Re: Jamieson Automatics Starlet Information manual V1

Hi that's a much needed great piece of work. My Autofruit needs a transformer which I am having trouble in finding by the way. My question is, am I right then in thinking that the output from the transformer is 12 volts?
Thanks again. !PUZZLED!

Thanks, that's quite an interesting snippet on my 3 Bells. I haven't touched it yet as I'm as always on with another machine at the moment, but in any case I can't source a transformer for it yet. !THUMBS! Has anyone got a transformer by any chance? :dammit:

Re: Win an Aero

I did bid on this charity entered machine but chickened out at £375. Just too much to do, but a memory jerker from my youth. P.S. I once bought a "CLOCK" with a cracked case from a charity shop in York, so they do come up at these shops now and again.
