Based on that image I think it's very sun bleached mahogany. It looks identical to mahogany long bench widow seating at my parent's house which had been in south facing sunny location for 50 plus years.

I always wondered how successful these Jamieson’s machines were to operate, as it is easy to walk past one and not give a second glance. I was always unsure about the spelling of his surname as publications have differing, either with an 'e' ( Braithwaite) or without. I have both of these printer blocks which show another two missing Modern Enterprises machines. 'The Hula Girl' description reads " All the allure of the South Sea...

They were made by Sidney Levine in the late 1940s. He operated in Fulham and started his Modern Enterprises limited company in 1950.
