Re: Moneybox Madness

Nearly £200! I bought mine for about £18 a few years ago. I do like them though, but not that much. They appear to be like buses..... not one for ages then 2 at once. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1950s-VINTAGE-COIN-OPERATED-OLD-PENNY-VENDING-SLOT-MACHINE-/360555695443?pt=UK_Video_Games_Coin_Operated_MJ...

Re: The grade II listed Scenic Railway rollercoaster .......

Strangely Margate has just been voted one of the top 10 destinations by the Rough Guide Travel Hot list for 2013! Perhaps they need to get Tracey Emin involved in saving Dreamland as it was her home town? Fashion/ Retail Guru, ( no not BP or Treefrog ) Mary Portas is also involved. http://www.bbc.co...

Re: Davall Trade Stimulator Reel Strip Help

Not sure what type of rivets used on your machine, but I have used some very small chromed or nickel plated Bifurcated rivets to repair a peanut vendor flap.

Re: Mechanical Memories Auction 2012

I just wanted to say well done to Jerry and Jeremy for holding such a great day on Sunday. I too made it a long weekend, coming up on Sat. and going home Mon. It makes it far more enjoyable. I thought that the day went very well, and the two auctioneers did a great job. As has been said, there were ...

Re: Mystery 50s allwin manufacturer

Of all these, the machines that I am least impressed by, in terms of quality, is Bryans, and I don't mean the mechanicals, but the quality of the build of the cases... I am sure this will ruffle a few feathers out there, but these were really cheaply made.... !!ESCAPE!! Ohh how very dare you :tut !...

Re: Bijou or Bajazzo Catcher

I may be a bit late in adding my 4 pence worth, but having recently moved I have been unable to get at some of my machines.
