You hit the nail on the head, Junior. It's classic BM Co. Other than that, not much to tell. I like that the number stamped on the door does not match the badge number on the door. Just shows how much milage these games got during their day as journeymen for arcade owners.
Nice example.

What about year of manufacture was the background green Belize back then and are there any more examples out there???
Re: Unidentified BMCo allwin
I have seen a number of these junior and the two centre columns were also blocked off (see pic below) to help prevent a win just like yours, I guess an operator addition/cheat.junior wrote:are there any more examples out there
BMCo were absolutely prolific with the amount of different designs for their ball galleries and most of their machines had plastic covered playfields so yours could be a replacement in felt, hence no decorative spandrels. Date: somewhere in the 1930s, they did not survive the war as a manufacturer of slot machines.
Re: Unidentified BMCo allwin
Thanks for the information so far gentlemen, did all bmco allwins come with the spandrels.I think looking at my other bmco that I really need spandrels to finnish it off .Do original ones exist nowadays?
Re: Unidentified BMCo allwin
Just came across this one, is this also an bmco? I know nothing about these but was reading this topic and get curious.

Re: Unidentified BMCo allwin
Thanks for contributions. The door has a lock at the top and lifts out , not a hinge in sight ,is that unusual?part of the reason for buying it, Is there any other bmco machines that were designed in the same way?
Re: Unidentified BMCo allwin
Yeah they made machines with top locks and no hinges. Usually on card vendors or Penny shoot games though. But since this was coming up to the war you can bet they were recycling or using up anything left over they could. Really can't see anybody getting excited about the use or non use of hinges though.
Re: Unidentified BMCo allwin
Thanks,I had never seen an allwin without hinges,so I didn't know if it was an oddity or a conversion .

Re: Unidentified BMCo allwin
Hi,
In the top right corner it says "look out for mystery award". Was this to make this game more attractive or was there a mystery award? I have put some pennies through it but have only won a penny and got the ball back.
Thanks.

Re: Unidentified BMCo allwin
Without the benefit of an internal view, these were all standard mechs returning just one penny and a free ball so I would guess this is an operator note, as you mention junior, to make the game more attractive.
Re: Unidentified BMCo allwin
I guess the operator could place a token into the coin stack as the mystery bonus to eventually be paid to a player?
