Another allwin revival - Wonders 24 winning cups

Post by geofflove »

Another from my shed load of faded allwins. The Wonders 23 cups giant allwin.

Needed to do a new backflash from a scan of the original as it was too far gone and new acetate. Those 24 cups were a real pain to punch and fit - Oh for a single gallery! Also needed a few bits of new wood and lots of penetrating oil! And locks - damn locks! I had a quote a re-key one - £75! I'll try a recommendation from another member next time. So I swapped the locks. However I have plenty to work on so suspect the original lock may make an appearance on another machine soon if I can get the re-keying sorted.
It plays fine but bloody hard to win given the number of possibilities - clearly clever design!

Wow nice done! It took a lot effort and time. Sadly time is what I miss.

Nice job. As regard it being hard to win, my record is five consecutive wins. Can anybody beat that?

5 in a row is a pretty impressive record. Maybe buy a lottery ticket?

It's down to skill of course. ;-) I've never bought a lottery ticket. On your advice I had better dash out and get one. |/XX\|

What is one of these worth in similar condition to this one? There's one close to me I'm considering. Thanks.
